A very exciting ESCRS for Helix Surgical — new product, new markets, and many promising discussions about the future.
We were very proud to use ESCRS 2026 to introduce the new Rx1.1, the latest evolution of our compact femtosecond laser platform for cataract surgery.
Rx1.1 brings several important improvements:
• A Visual fixation point – a red fixation light designed to help optimize the centration of the capsulorhexis.
• A redesigned handpiece – lighter, more ergonomic and easier to handle.
• A Camera output – enabling training and allowing everyone in the operating room to see exactly what the surgeon sees through the oculars.
During the event, we have had the opportunity to engage in many exciting discussions with ophthalmic industry leaders, potential strategic partners, distributors and, most importantly, ophthalmic surgeons from around the world.
And our international expansion continues: Rx1.1 is already cleared for commercialization in Europe, and we are delighted to announce that today we officially received authorization to commercialize the new system in Saudi Arabia.
Several additional Asian markets are expected to open very soon.
